While there has been much buzz about today’s ticket price increase at Walt Disney World, Brevard County residents can still purchase tickets at a Florida resident discounted rate of $138 for a 3-Day Play Pass or $172 for a 4-Day Pass through the Walt Disney World website.

Brevard County residents should avoid peak seasonal times such as summer, spring break, Christmas, and Thanksgiving if at all possible when the parks are extremely crowded and the hotel prices are high.

If you have out of state relatives visiting, there are other discounts available if they book their hotel and tickets at the same time.

There are additional benefits to staying at a Disney hotel, such as avoiding the $14 parking fee and additional hours at the parks.
