Moon Jelly Fish Update for Sunday October 2, 2011

As of 8:30 a.m. on Sunday October 2, 2011, jelly fish are sparsely present throughout Cocoa Beachfrom Coconuts on the Beach northward to the Cocoa Beach Pier.
Approximately 3-4 moon jelly fish can be seen on shore per an entire block of beach.
Winds from the north should keep jelly fish mostly off shore today.
Waves are 3 to 4 feet and glassy, with the largest waves being on the south side of the Cocoa Beach Pier.
Sargasso seaweed is at a minimum, water is clear and a great day for surf fishing (especially after the temperature change).
Red Fish, Drum, and Sheephead have been hitting in the last 24 hours.
Huge schools of finger mullet have made their way back near shore today.
