The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that 36-year-old Douglas Hanna of Malabar, Florida died in a crash this morning just after midnight.

Hanna was driving his 2003 Dodge Pickup east on State Road 46 in Seminole County when, for unknown reasons, his truck traveled off the roadway onto the south grassy shoulder of State Road 46 North and struck several trees.

Upon final impact with a large palm tree, the truck overturned onto its right side and came to a final rest position.

Hanna was pronounced deceased on scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
