MIMS, Fla. — Investigators with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office released the identities of two victims found deceased in their Mims home just north of Titusville yesterday.

65-year-old Kathrine Myers of 1870 Hallum Avenue, Mims, and 50-year-old Jerri Brown also of 1870 Hallum Avenue, Mims, were discovered inside their single family residence yesterday following a 9-1-1 call made by a family member.

That caller, 69-year-old Jerry Lee Hawkins, remains hospitalized today.

Both victims were located in separate bedrooms and appeared to be sleeping.  Mr. Hawkins contacted authorities after he realized he was unable to wake either of the women.

Investigators have found no physical evidence suggesting injury or traumatic death to either of the victims.  The Brevard County Medical Examiner is completing autopsies on both women.  It will be several weeks for toxicology reports to be complete.
