MELBOURNE, Florida — The Melbourne Police Department is investigating an incident where a woman, 21-year-old Lauren Chudkosky of Melbourne, Florida, was struck by a southbound train in Melbourne, Florida.
The accident occurred on the F.E.C. train tracks between Sarno Road and Babcock Street.
Chudosky died as a result of the injuries she sustained from the accident.
The circumstances surrounding her presence on the railroad tracks is currently under investigation by Melbourne Police detectives.
This accident is also under investigation by F.E.C. law enforcement.
