Orlando Man Dies In Fiery Crash On I-95

PORT ST. JOHN, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a 26-year-old man has died as a result of injuries he sustained in a fiery vehicle crash that occurred on I-95 in Brevard County around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.  The man’s identity is being withheld by FHP pending next-of-kin notification.

According to FHP, the man was driving a 2008 Mazda van southbound on I-95 around mile marker 213 just outside of Port St. John when, for an unknown reason, he lost control and the van left the roadway.  The front of the van struck a pole and caught fire.  The man was trapped inside and died in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
UPDATE: FHP has released the identity of the driver, 26-year-old Juan Monge Suarez of Orlando, Florida.
