TITUSVILLE, Florida — Just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, the Titusville Police Department received a report of a strong arm robbery at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 1390 Garden Street in Titusville, Florida.
According to witnesses and video evidence, a thin, dark-skinned, Hispanic male, who is described as being approximately 5’8″ tall and weighing 135 lbs., entered the store. Police say that this suspect attempted to purchase a pack of bubble gum, and handed the cashier money. Then, when the cash register opened, he jumped on the counter, pushed the cashier backwards, grabbed some cash, and ran out of the store.
The suspect ran westbound from the incident location. A K-9 track was conducted without the apprehension of the suspect.
