Hurricane Edouard is located about 575 miles east-northeast of Bermuda and is moving to the northeast at 20 miles per hour. Edouard has maximum sustained winds of 90 miles per hour which makes this tropical cyclone a Category 1 Hurricane.
Edouard’s wind field has expanded since yesterday. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles, and tropical storm force winds up to 205 miles, from the center of the hurricane.
NOAA’s Hurricane Edouard track forecasts that Edouard will remain over the open Atlantic through the week while retaining hurricane strength through Wednesday before weakening into a tropical storm on Thursday. Edouard is forecast to near the Azores by Sunday.
