LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida — Disney World announced on it’s Be Our Guest Restaurant Lunch reservation website that:
“On Feb. 24, 2015 the lunch testing at Be Our Guest Restaurant will be ending. Beginning Feb. 25, log on to MyDisneyExperience.com for more information about dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch.”
The Be Our Guest Restaurant is part of the New Fantasy Land located in the Magic Kingdom and is themed after the movie Beauty and the Beast. After opening in December 2012, the restaurant soon became the most sought after dining option within the Magic Kingdom. Originally, reservations were only taken for dining while lunch was stand by only. Disney had launched a test program where select on-site Disney resort hotel guests were given an opportunity to not only make a reservation, but to also order their food selections weeks in advance. The lunch reservation program drew some ire from Disney park-goers, especially from those who were not staying on-site in a Disney resort hotel.
