Pedestrian Killed In Cape Canaveral Auto Accident
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a pedestrian was struck and killed on State Road A1A around 8 p.m. on Sunday in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The traffic fatality occurred at the intersection of North Atlantic Avenue (State Road A1A) and Hayes Avenue. 68-year-old Linda Sanderson of Cape Canaveral was transported for medical treatment in critical condition following the accident, but later succumbed to the injuries that she had sustained.
The Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the identity of the driver at this time. Although this is an ongoing investigation, based on the preliminary findings, there are presently no charges pending.
