President Trump Cancels Visit To Orlando On Friday

UPDATE: The visit has been canceled following the school shooting in Broward County, Florida.

ORLANDO, Florida – U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to visit Orlando, Florida on Friday after the Federal Aviation Administration issued a “VIP Movement Notification.”

The White House and the Donald J. Trump campaign have not released any details of the visit.
However, there is widespread speculation that President Trump will talk about his $1.5 trillion dollar infrastructure program that is part of his proposed $4 trillion budget.
The Sunshine State’s tourism economy is heavily reliant upon the nation’s roads, airports, and ports, all of which Trump proposes to improve.
Additionally, bridges are vital to Florida’s coastal communities during hurricane evacuations and for day-to-day transportation.
Possible other topics during Trump’s visit are the early closing of the ‘doughnut  hole’ in Medicare which benefits over 3 million senior citizens in Florida and the $16 billion aid package to Puerto Rico that Trump signed last week.
Trump carried all east Central Florida counties in the 2016 campaign except Orange County and Osceola County, which encompass the Orlando metro area and nearby Walt Disney World.
