Florida Man, Florida Woman Bottle Feed Alligator In Viral Maternity Photo

TAMPA, Florida – A Florida man and Florida woman bottle feeding an alligator in a maternity photo has gone viral on the internet. Lindsey Tuttle, of Tampa, Florida, can be seen cradling a juvenile alligator while her husband, Jonathan Tuttle, attempts to bottle feed the Florida reptile.

The photo is staged in true “Florida Man” style with a State of Florida flag posted next to an 18-pack of Bud Light and a shotgun that appears to be pointed towards the expectant couple that is resting on the 18-pack.

“Last minute practice for baby,” Lindsey wrote in the photo caption on her Facebook page. “Alligators don’t like to bottlefeed, apparently…. Didn’t try to breastfeed.”

Alligators are reptiles, non-mammals that they do not nurse or drink milk at anytime during their life cycle.

A few days later, the Florida woman added a follow-up post after the alligator maternity photo went viral.

“Tbh my husband is the most pure and wonderful human being in the world for putting up with all of my crazy ideas…,” Lindsey wrote.

“While I love the attention, he hates it, but he loves me enough to go along with stupid shit like this that puts a spotlight on us and supports me in everything I do. He is a treasure and I’m so lucky to have him.”

Although the alligator did not take to the bottle, alligators are opportunistic predators with an indiscriminate appetite that includes fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and even fruit.
