Trump To Hold 1st Rally In Florida After Contracting COVID-19

SANFORD, Florida – U.S. President Donald Trump will attend his first campaign rally since testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday, October 12, 2020, in Sanford, Florida.

Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump both tested positive for COVID-19 on October 1, 2020.

“Since returning home, his physical exam has remained stable and devoid of any indications to suggest progression of illness,” President Trump’s doctor Sean P. Conley wrote in a White House memo.

“Overall he’s responded extremely well to treatment, without evidence on examination of adverse therapeutic effects. Saturday will be day 10 since Thursday’s diagnosis, and based on the trajectory of advanced diagnostics the team has been conducting, I fully anticipate the President’s safe return to public engagements at that time.”

The rally is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. at the Orlando Sanford International Airport located at 2841 Flight Line Avenue in Sanford. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Free tickets for the event are available on a first-come, first-serve basis on the Trump campaign’s event signup page.

“Will be in Sanford, Florida on Monday for a very BIG RALLY!” Trump tweeted.
